Why did the trademark dispute occur?
We aren't at liberty to discuss all the details. At this point all we can say is that another brand felt our name may cause their consumers confusion. It's far cheaper to pivot and move forward than fight a larger corporation in court!
When will the rebrand occur?
The rebrand will begin in mid-April. Alpen Fuel can sell Alpen Fuel branded products through April 17th. At this time, the URL and pouches will change over to Angry Pika.
What products will Angry Pika Food Co. sell?
Angry Pika Food Co. will initially offer our four top selling granola meals which include Caramel Apple, Lemon Berry, Chocolate Strawberry and Cranberry White Chocolate.
Bulk granola (without powdered milk or fruit) will be discontinued after April 17th.
Trail Cookies will be reintroduced as revenue allows, likely in May or early June.
Expect some new granola and cookie flavors in 2025!
What are the details on the multi week sale?
One product line will be discounted 25% each week:
- March 23-29, Trail Cookies 25% off (code REBRAND25), Bulk Granola and Granola Meals 10% off
- March 30-April 5, Bulk Granola 25% off (code REBRAND25), Granola Meals and Trail Cookies 10% off
- April 6-12, Granola Meals 25% off (code REBRAND25), Bulk Granola and Trail Cookies 10% off
Stock on hand is limited!
When will Angry Pika merch be available?
Our top priority is getting meals and trail cookies available for sale under the Angry Pika name. Once we have this goal accomplished, we will roll out some Angry Pika merch including stickers, hats, t-shirts, and hoodies.
Does the rebrand affect dealers?
Not really, as dealers can continue to sell Alpen Fuel stock until they run out. From mid-April onward, dealers will be purchasing Angry Pika products.
